What are box braids?
Box braids are individual three-strand braids, each one starting from a small square (the “box”) of your own hair. Extension hair is added for length and fullness, so you can go from shoulder length to hip length in one appointment.
They are one of the most versatile styles there is. Wear them down, up in a high bun, half-up or in a ponytail, and they keep their shape through heat, humidity, sea and pool.
Box braids or knotless braids?
Traditional box braids start with a small knot at the root, which gives a crisp, defined base and a fuller look from day one. Knotless braids skip the knot for a flatter, lighter root. Not sure which you want? Tell us in your request and we will advise based on your hair and how long you need the style to last.

- Sizes from micro and small to medium, large and jumbo
- Lengths from bob and shoulder to waist and hip
- Natural black (1B), brown, honey blonde, burgundy or colour blends
- Finish with beads, cuffs or curly ends
- Box braid bobs for a lighter, quicker option
Before your appointment
Come with clean, dry, detangled hair and no heavy oils. Send a reference photo on WhatsApp after your request so we can quote accurately. Nothing is booked until we confirm and the Rs 500 deposit is received.
